Support Young Learners at a Welcoming Primary School in Hull Smile Education is recruiting on behalf of a friendly, inclusive primary academy in East Hull, seeking a passionate Level 2 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from September 2026.

The Role
As a Level 2 Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging Early Years learning activities.
- Help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating nursery environment.
- Encourage children's learning through play and exploration.
- Support children's personal, social, emotional and language development.
- Assist with observations and contribute towards children's learning records.
- Promote positive behaviour and build strong relationships with children and families.
- Support children with varying learning needs to help them reach their full potential.
- Assist with classroom preparation, resources and daily routines.
The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who has:- Level 2 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification.
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- Experience working within a UK nursery, preschool or primary school Early Years setting.
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
Requirements- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Smile Education.
- Ability to provide two years of employment and/or education references, including one relating to working with children. Providing referee details during your registration will help ensure a smooth compliance process and the quickest possible clearance.
- Right to work in the UK.
