Are you a Learning Support Assistant passionate about supporting young people with Social, emotional, and mental health needs?

Do you have experience working with children with challenging behaviour in a school or Youth Work setting?

One of our partnership SEMH schools in South Manchester are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their team and make a difference to the young people they support.

In this role as a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Support the class teacher in the delivery of lessons and activities within the classroom.
  • Act as a role model for students and reinforce expectations.
  • Support children’s learning to help them to reach their full potential.
  • Engage with children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
  • And much more!

The ideal Learning Support Assistant will have:

  • Experience working with children with challenging behaviour in a school or youth work setting.
  • Highly organised and flexible.
  • Enthusiastic and keen to work with young people.
  • A good communicator and able to build good relationships with young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
