A highly reputable secondary school and sixth form in Cambridge is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join their esteemed permanent staff team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a vibrant educational community known for its commitment to academic excellence and inclusive education.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), ensuring they can access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
*
Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver tailored interventions and support strategies.
*
Assist in the preparation and adaptation of learning materials.
*
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
*
Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
*
Support students' emotional and social development, encouraging positive behavior and interactions.

Requirements:
*A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
*Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.
*Understanding of SEND and strategies to support students with diverse needs.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students’ learning and development.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
*Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the varying needs of students.
