Learning Support Assistant - Oxford

A Secondary School in Oxford is seeking a dedicated and caring Learning Support Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Therapists, Teachers, or other graduates who want to build valuable, hands-on experience supporting students with a range of learning and additional needs.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students to help them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
Support students with their learning, confidence, independence, and engagement in the classroom.
* Work closely with teachers to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
* Encourage students to participate actively in lessons and develop effective learning strategies.
* Observe and monitor students' progress, engagement, and wellbeing throughout the school day.
