Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs? Supply Desk is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive school in the Hemel Hempstead area. The successful candidate will work closely with pupils, teachers, and the wider support team to help students overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide tailored one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEN, helping them engage positively with their learning.
• Work alongside teachers to support students with their academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development.
• Assist pupils in developing confidence, independence, communication skills, and positive learning habits.
• Adapt activities and provide additional support to meet individual learning needs.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils, encouraging a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational or SEN setting.
• A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach with strong communication skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs and helping them achieve their potential.
