We are recruiting Special Needs Teaching Assistants to join specialist schools across Hampshire from September 2026.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with additional needs both in and out of the classroom. You will work closely with teachers and other staff to help pupils engage with learning, build confidence, develop independence, and achieve their individual goals.
No two days are the same, and you'll play an important role in creating a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment where every pupil can succeed.

Special Educational Needs (SEN) Schools
Supporting pupils with autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, medical needs, and communication difficulties.
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Schools
Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs, including those with anxiety, trauma, or behavioural challenges.
We are looking for caring, patient, and reliable individuals who are passionate about supporting young people.
You do not need previous experience working in a school. We welcome applications from people with transferable skills and experience from a range of backgrounds, including:
Childcare and nurseries
Residential or supported living
Care and support work
Healthcare
Youth work
Coaching or mentoring
Customer service and hospitality
Psychology or education graduates
