Learning Support Assistant – Secondary SEN Schools
Location: Andover and nearby areas
Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour
Hours: Flexible full-time and part-time positions available
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistants to support Secondary SEN schools throughout the Andover area.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping young people with additional learning needs thrive both academically and personally. You will work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support to students in a classroom setting.
The Role
Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and within small groups
Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery
Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Helping students build confidence, independence, and social skills
Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
A positive and compassionate attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience within education, care, or support work is beneficial but not essential
A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting students
Important Information
Applicants must hold a Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
