Full-Time Opportunity | Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a supportive secondary school in the Bridgwater area to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant.

This rewarding role will involve supporting students on a 1:1 basis, as well as delivering small group interventions to help pupils achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

The role:

  • Provide 1:1 support for students with additional learning needs
  • Deliver small group interventions focused on engagement and progress
  • Support students both inside and outside of the classroom
  • Work closely with teaching staff and the SEN department
  • Help promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
  • Be patient, resilient, and adaptable
  • Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Be passionate about supporting student development and wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
