Learning Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a client secondary school based in South Manchester who are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to start in September. The school is looking for someone who can come in full-time, 5 days a week. An ideal candidate will have experience supporting disengaged students or working as a Behaviour Support Assistant.

The role will involve monitoring responsibilities and working alongside the Heads of both Years 10 and 11, to identify which pupils would benefit from additional support. The successful candidate will be highlighting development and progress in specific care plans to parents and teachers prior to important GCSE examinations.

The school is located in the heart of Old Trafford and is just a 10-minute walk from tram links and bus stops that go in and out of Manchester city centre. The school also boasts a large staff car park.

All applicants will require appropriate qualifications and Right to Work in the UK in order to be considered for this role. You will need to have or be willing to apply for an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS that is then registered on the Update Service.
