Salary: £83.85 - £90 Per day

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational development and progress of students within the school setting. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support and assistance to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
  • Working closely with teachers to implement individual education plans
  • Assisting with classroom activities and ensuring a conducive learning environment
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers
  • Supporting students with personal care and physical needs, if required
  • GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • First Aid certification
  • This is a temporary position with full-time hours for 1-2 terms
  • You will be required to work within the school hours and term dates
  • The role may involve some physical activities and providing personal care

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
