Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Location: Daventry, NN11

Salary: £85 - £90 per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Full-time, immediate start available

Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in Daventry on a full-time basis. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to students, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN, both in the classroom and during activities.
  • Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Support students with their learning and personal development, helping to build their confidence and independence.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant, preferably with SEN experience.
  • A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of young people.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (desirable but not essential).
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
