Learning Support Assistant needed in NN1.

Start ASAP after Easter until end of academic year.

Pay - £85 to £96 per day.

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to support one of our amazing Secondary schools in Daventry. The role is a long term and full time role. You will be working as a Teaching Assistant within the classroom and on a rare occasian, 1-1 with the students. The role is a very exciting opportunity to be apart of a fantastic team and department.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

 

• To help prepare, monitor and maintain a safe and secure learning environment in line with the teacher’s lesson plans.

• To work under the direct supervision of a teacher to carry out planned learning activities with small groups or individual pupils, providing feedback on their engagement in activities and their achievement of the desired learning objectives.

• Encouraging a high standard of behaviour, develop relationship with others and recognize and deal with emotions in an appropriate way

• To prepare and utilise ICT resources to support pupils learning.

• To prepare and support the use of learning materials and create visual displays, in accordance with the requirements of the teacher, in order to facilitate a relevant physical learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
