Join the support department within a large secondary school, providing additional guidance to pupils at varying levels of learning ability.

  • Full-time Learning Support Assistant.
  • Required to start in September 2020 for the full academic year.
  • Providing in class Maths support for identified pupils.
  • Earn up to £1400 per month!
  • Secondary school based in Bolton.

Our client secondary school are looking for an additional member of staff to join their support department to ensure identified pupils have the correct guidance required.

The incoming Learning Support Assistant will be providing in class support on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to ensure all pupils have support when required. The class teacher will provide the incoming candidate with all resources needed and may occasionally be asked to support with interventions – all work will be pre-set.

Some pupils may have additional learning needs such as dyslexia. The incoming assistant should have previous experience supporting children and young people previously.

The school is based in Bolton and has around 1000 pupils on roll. The school can be accessed via the M60 and A58 from surrounding areas. For candidates without their own transport, the school can also be accessed via public transport links from neighbouring areas such as Prestwich, Bury and Salford.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
