We are recruiting multiple Learning Support Assistants to join a supportive education setting in the BS5 area of Bristol. These roles are ideal for individuals passionate about supporting children and young people with additional learning needs.

You will work closely with teachers and the wider support team to help pupils access learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential. Opportunities are available across different age groups and needs.

  • Support pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
  • Assist with classroom learning and activities
  • Help implement individual support plans
  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
  • Provide a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment

Essential

  • Experience working with children or young people (education, care or support roles)
  • A patient, caring and reliable approach
  • Ability to build positive relationships

Desirable

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND (e.g. autism, ADHD, SEMH)
  • Relevant training or qualifications in education or care
