Tudor Grange Academy Redditch is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our highly effective team as a Learning Mentor - Thrive. This permanent position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by providing first-class mentoring to our students and supporting their educational and personal development.
Role Overview: As a Learning Mentor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the welfare and academic progress of our students. Your primary responsibility will be to provide personalised support tailored to the individual needs of students, ensuring they have equal access to learning opportunities. By focusing on the Thrive approach across the Academy, you will contribute to creating an environment that fosters high-quality learning experiences for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide mentoring and support to students, addressing both educational and personal needs.
- Foster a supportive environment that promotes equality of access to learning opportunities.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to implement the Thrive approach effectively.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and making adjustments to support plans as needed.
- Contribute to the overall welfare and well-being of students within the Academy.
Candidate Requirements:
- Enthusiastic individual dedicated to supporting student development and welfare.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Previous experience in a mentoring or support role within an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Willingness to undergo health and criminal record clearance as part of the recruitment process.
