We are recruiting on behalf of a successful academy seeking an exceptional Lead Practitioner for Maths to join their team from September 2026.
This is a senior teaching and learning role for an individual who combines outstanding classroom practice with a strong commitment to developing others. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in strengthening Maths teaching across the academy by modelling excellence, coaching colleagues, and leading high‑quality professional development rooted in evidence and impact.
This role is ideal for an experienced practitioner with deep subject expertise, high expectations, and a collaborative approach who believes passionately in the power of great teaching to transform outcomes.
As Lead Practitioner for Maths, you will work closely with teaching staff and leaders to embed consistently high‑quality pedagogy across the department and wider school.
You will support colleagues through coaching, mentoring, and professional learning, helping to shape a culture where strong teaching practice, reflection, and ambition drive pupil achievement in Maths.
