  • Provide high-quality tutoring to KS3/4 students in Mathematics
  • Develop tailored lesson plans and teaching materials based on individual student needs
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Encourage student engagement and participation in learning activities
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Relevant degree in Mathematics or Education
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
  • Experience in tutoring or teaching Mathematics at KS3/4 level

  • Strong understanding of the KS3/4 Mathematics curriculum
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational and time management abilities
  • Additional teaching certifications or qualifications
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs

This role involves working part-time hours as a temporary Maths tutor in Surrey. The tutor will primarily work with KS3/4 students, providing tailored lessons and support to help them achieve their academic goals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
