  • Provide English tutoring to KS3/4 students
  • Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to meet individual student needs
  • Assess students' progress and provide feedback
  • Support SEN pupils in their learning
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure student success
  • Bachelor's degree in English or related field
  • Experience working with SEN pupils

Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching English

  • Strong understanding of the KS3/4 English curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate instruction based on student needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience and empathy when working with SEN pupils
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience in tutoring or mentoring students

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The tutor will need to travel to different locations within Surrey to provide English tutoring to students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
