Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties: The KS3 Tutor will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective tutoring sessions to Key Stage 3 students in English, Maths and Science. This includes planning and preparing lessons, assessing students' progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs.

 

Required Qualifications: A relevant teaching qualification or equivalent experience in tutoring Key Stage 3 students. Strong subject knowledge in the areas being taught.

Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.

Experience: Previous experience in tutoring or teaching Key Stage 3 students is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to motivate and engage students, strong organisational skills, and a passion for education.

Preferred Qualifications: Additional teaching certifications or qualifications in specific subject areas.

Working Conditions: The role involves working in Basildon, Essex, during regular school hours. The tutor may need to work with students one-on-one or in small groups.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
