Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a welcoming primary school in the Newquay area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become an important part of a supportive KS2 team, helping children develop confidence, achieve their potential, and enjoy their learning journey.

Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or someone with transferable skills and a passion for working with children, we'd love to hear from you.


As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in a child's educational journey.

You'll have the chance to:

  • Build strong, positive relationships with pupils

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting teaching and learning within a KS2 classroom
  • Working with small groups and individual pupils
  • Delivering intervention activities in literacy and numeracy

  • Working closely with teachers and the wider support team
