We are recruiting a talented and committed KS2 Class Teacher for a mainstream primary school in Darwen. This Autumn Term position offers an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school community, with the possibility of securing a permanent role.

The successful candidate will inspire pupils through engaging lessons and maintain high expectations for attainment, progress, and behaviour.

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Plan lessons that challenge and engage pupils of all abilities.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work effectively with teaching assistants and support staff.

  • Previous teaching experience within a primary school setting.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Main Pay Scale remuneration based on experience.
