KS2 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Salary: M1–M6 (Teachers' Pay Scale)
Contract: Fixed-Term Maternity Cover
Start Date: September 2026

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join our friendly and ambitious team from September 2026 to cover a period of maternity leave.

We are seeking a teacher who:

  • Is committed to becoming an excellent classroom practitioner.
  • Delivers engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire pupils and promote excellent progress.
  • Has strong knowledge of the Primary and KS2 Curriculum and current educational practice.
  • Has high expectations and is committed to raising attainment for all pupils.
  • Works effectively as part of a team and contributes positively to the wider school community.
  • Builds strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.
  • Has a positive outlook, a good sense of humour and remains calm under pressure.
  • Is keen to work within a collaborative Multi-Academy Trust.
