A welcoming and community-focused primary school in the Chester area is seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join their dedicated team from September 2026.

This opportunity would suit a passionate teacher who enjoys working within a smaller school environment and is committed to delivering engaging, high-quality teaching across Key Stage 2 in the Chester area. The role will involve teaching within upper KS2 classes, alongside some flexibility to support learning across other junior year groups where required.

The Role

The successful KS2 Teacher candidate will:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 2

• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues
• Contribute positively to wider school life and enrichment opportunities
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have recent experience as a KS2 Teacher
• Demonstrate strong classroom practice and subject knowledge
• Be committed to achieving high standards for all learners
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills
• Be adaptable, proactive, and able to work effectively within a small team
• Show enthusiasm for contributing to the wider school community
• Have a commitment to ongoing professional development
