We are seeking a committed and skilled KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Aylesbury from Easter 2026. Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum, meeting the needs of pupils with a range of abilities.
Create a positive and structured classroom environment that promotes high expectations, inclusion, and pupil progress.
Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress, using assessment data to inform planning and support individual learning needs.
Encourage independent learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving through well-structured and purposeful lessons.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to whole-school improvement.
Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil development and achievement.
Participate fully in staff meetings, school events, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching across Key Stage 2.
Secure knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching and assessment strategies.
A commitment to developing confident, independent learners.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.
A proactive, reflective approach to teaching and professional development.
