We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our team on a one-year fixed-term contract from September 2026, covering a planned absence.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning and making a positive impact on pupils’ progress and wellbeing.

  • Full class teaching responsibilities within Key Stage 2
  • Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons aligned to the national curriculum
  • Assessing, tracking and supporting pupils’ progress
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in KS2 (ECTs are welcome to apply)
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • High expectations for pupils’ achievement and behaviour
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
