A welcoming and well-respected faith Primary School in Preston is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is to cover a planned staff absence for 12 months, offering the opportunity to become fully embedded in school life and make a meaningful impact within our community.
About the Role
As our new Year 5 Teacher, you will lead a vibrant and inquisitive cohort of learners as they prepare for the transition into upper KS2. You will deliver creative, engaging, and well-structured lessons that stretch pupils academically while supporting their personal, social, and spiritual growth.
You will play a key role in ensuring high standards of learning and behaviour, fostering a classroom culture rooted in the school’s values and ethos. Working closely with a highly experienced full-time Teaching Assistant and a supportive senior leadership team, you will be encouraged to share ideas, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to whole-school life.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
