Academics are currently recruiting a KS2 Classroom Teacher to support a range of friendly and well-supported primary schools across Worksop on a temporary, ongoing supply basis.

Position: KS2 Classroom Teacher
Location: Worksop, Nottinghamshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: £130 - £190 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that suits you

About the Role

As a KS2 Classroom Teacher in Worksop, you will deliver engaging and structured lessons to pupils across Key Stage 2, supporting their academic development and preparing them for transition to secondary education.

This role provides the opportunity to work across multiple schools in Worksop, offering variety, flexibility, and valuable classroom experience.

You may be required to cover both short-term absences and longer-term placements depending on school needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lessons across KS2
  * Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities
  * Maintain strong classroom behaviour and engagement
  * Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback
  * Follow safeguarding and school policies
  * Work collaboratively with teaching teams

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  * Experience teaching within KS2
  * Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  * Adaptable and reliable approach
  * Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
