An excellent mainstream primary school in Chorley is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Class Teacher for the Autumn Term, with the possibility of a permanent position for the successful candidate.

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Assess, monitor, and evaluate pupil progress.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
  • Establish a positive and productive classroom environment.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and wider school staff.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers.
  • Contribute to school improvement and wider school activities.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Commitment to raising standards and supporting pupil achievement.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Main Pay Scale salary based on experience.
