A thriving mainstream primary school in Leyland is seeking an outstanding KS2 Class Teacher to join their team for the Autumn Term. For the right candidate, there is the possibility of progressing into a permanent role.

This position would suit a dedicated educator who is passionate about helping children reach their full potential whilst delivering engaging and inspiring lessons.

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and effective KS2 lessons.
  • Differentiate learning to support pupils of varying abilities.
  • Monitor attainment and support pupil progress.
  • Foster a positive and respectful classroom culture.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and school leaders.
  • Engage with parents and carers to support pupil development.
  • Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 or within primary education.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Main Pay Scale salary dependent on experience.
