A welcoming and ambitious mainstream primary school in Blackburn is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Class Teacher to join their team for the Autumn Term, with the potential for the position to become permanent for the right candidate.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality education and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. Applications are welcomed from experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Promote high standards of behaviour and achievement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers.
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 or a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Main Pay Scale salary dependent on experience.
