Salary: £77 - £95 Per day

  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering educational activities for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students
  • Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Working with individual students or small groups to provide additional support as needed
  • Helping to prepare teaching materials and resources
  • Assisting with assessment and record-keeping
  • Engaging with parents and carers to provide feedback on student progress
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or experience
  • DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance
  • Minimum of GCSE level education
  • Additional qualifications in Education or Childcare are desirable
  • Prior experience working in a school setting
  • Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs
  • Understanding of the national curriculum for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Higher level qualifications in Education or Childcare
  • First Aid certification
  • Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
  • Classroom-based role with some outdoor activities
  • Potential for additional training and professional development opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
