Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Levenshulme to recruit a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 1.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will work across Years 1 and 2, providing classroom support, delivering interventions, and helping to create engaging learning experiences for all pupils.

The Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 1.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting pupils across Years 1 and 2 both within the classroom and through small group interventions
  • Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Providing targeted support to pupils who require additional help with their learning
  • Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupil engagement
  • Supporting the development of literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
  • Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to support pupil progress
  • Assisting with the preparation of classroom resources and learning activities

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a positive and committed individual who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development.

You will have:

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working within a primary school setting
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A commitment to promoting inclusion and supporting all learners
