A fantastic opportunity has become available for a committed KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Darwen from 2nd November through to the end of the academic year.

The school is looking for a teacher who is passionate about primary education and dedicated to helping children achieve their best both academically and personally.

  • Deliver engaging and effective Key Stage 1 lessons.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with curriculum objectives.
  • Track and support pupil progress.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Previous experience teaching within KS1.
  • Strong understanding of primary education and curriculum requirements.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
  • Paid in accordance with the Main Pay Scale.
