Are you a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking an enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school, where you'll inspire young learners to develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning in a nurturing classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1.
• Teach pupils across Year 1 and/or Year 2, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development.
• Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment where every child can thrive.
• Deliver high-quality phonics, literacy, numeracy, and foundation subject lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Assess, monitor, and record pupils' progress, using assessment data to inform planning and provide targeted support where needed.
• Differentiate lessons to support pupils of all abilities, including those with SEND, EAL, and higher-attaining learners.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupils to become confident, independent, and resilient learners.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, parents, and the wider school community to support pupil achievement and wellbeing.
• Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum, including phonics and early reading.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A passion for creating engaging learning experiences that inspire young children.
• A commitment to raising attainment and supporting the individual needs of every pupil.
• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
