Education and Training

£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide tailored one-to-one support to Key Stage 1 (KS1) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
  • Assist students with academic tasks and help them develop essential skills
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in students' education
  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience working with SEN students in a educational setting
  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement individualised learning plans
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

At least 2 years of experience working as a tutor or teacher with SEN students

  • Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
  • Ability to assess students' learning needs and progress
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Patience and empathy
  • Additional training in SEN education
  • Experience working with children with specific learning difficulties
  • Full-time hours
  • Potential for flexible working arrangements

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
