Supply Desk are seeking a professional, passionate, and dedicated KS1 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Harrow area, starting this September.

This full-time role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about working with children in Key Stage 1 and committed to creating an engaging, supportive, and stimulating learning environment. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, adaptable, and dedicated to helping every child achieve their full potential while contributing positively to the wider school community.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, engaging, and curriculum-aligned lessons, monitoring and assessing pupil progress, and maintaining positive communication with parents and carers. You will also have opportunities to contribute to extra-curricular activities and wider school initiatives, helping to enrich the educational experience for all pupils.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons for KS1 pupils
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Maintain high expectations for pupil behaviour, achievement, and personal development
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and development
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and the wider school team
• Contribute to extra-curricular activities, school events, and wider school initiatives
• Promote the safeguarding, wellbeing, and welfare of all pupils

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Primary classroom teaching experience, ideally within KS1
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• A commitment to inclusive education and meeting the needs of all learners
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures
• A positive, professional, and collaborative approach to working within a school environment
