The Opportunity

As the school's KS1 Class Teacher, you will take responsibility for your class on your agreed working days, working closely with the wider teaching team to ensure consistency and continuity throughout the maternity cover period.

Contract: Part-time maternity cover
Pay: £171-£245 per day, depending on experience and responsibilities

Who Would Suit This Role?

We're particularly interested in hearing from an experienced KS1 Teacher who has a strong understanding of teaching and learning across Key Stage 1.

You'll need to be confident in:

• Planning and delivering the KS1 curriculum
• Teaching phonics and supporting early reading
• Assessing pupil progress and identifying next steps
• Differentiating lessons to meet a range of learning needs
• Creating and maintaining positive classroom behaviour
• Working effectively with teaching assistants and colleagues
• Building positive relationships with pupils
• Communicating effectively with parents and carers

Above all, we're looking for an experienced teacher who can provide stability, consistency and high-quality teaching throughout the maternity cover.
