We are currently looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join a friendly school catering team in Hyde.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants part-time hours that fit around family or other commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with food preparation and serving meals to pupils and staff
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen
- Washing up and cleaning kitchen equipment
- Supporting the catering team during busy lunch periods
- Following food safety and health & safety procedures at all times
What We're Looking For:
- Previous kitchen, catering, or school catering experience is desirable
- A positive, hardworking attitude
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is advantageous (or willingness to obtain one) !!!!
