Teaching Personnel are working closely with schools in the Boston area and are looking for KS1 Teachers to fill short-term & long-term cover - working with us will give you that freedom you have always dreamt of, whilst still supporting you in your teaching career.

 

A Quick Overview

We are recruiting KS1 Teachers who are adaptable, encouraging & eager; ready to make a difference to the education of young children. We want teachers who can enter any classroom and engage all pupils, to reach each child’s greatest potential.

You will motivate children and imaginatively use resources to help them learn. You'll provide a safe and secure environment for them to develop their social and communication skills, while recording observations and summarising their achievements.

 

Duties & The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working with primary pupils – specifically, in Key Stage 1
  • Inspire creativity in lessons and play
  • To attend meetings, reviews, and training in accordance with the school policy
  • Strong knowledge of current KS1 curriculum
  • Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the requirements of the national curriculum
  • Prepare and plan for teaching, taking account of the requirements of all children within their class
  • Ensure that work is marked regularly, and in line with school policy
  • Be responsible for the effective management of your classroom

 

Salary & Working Hours

The rate of pay will depend on experience, but Teaching Personnel can guarantee a price match against any other agency – ensuring your trust in us representing you, stays at an all-time high!

Full time hours (Minimum 8.30am – 3.30pm)

Extra hours may be required for staff meetings, inspections, and parent consultations.

 

Qualification and Vetting

The successful candidate will be required to show proof of appropriate qualification for the post (UK QTS certification) and ECT’s are welcome to apply.

 

Experience & understanding of the KS1 curriculum is essential.

Successful candidates must provide details (when requested) of appropriate referee’s and consent to being subject to ‘Child Only’ DBS checks as per our vetting procedures.
