Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work within a Key Stage 2 classroom at a welcoming one-form entry village primary school in LA2.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed Teaching Assistant looking for a long-term role starting in September. The school is proud of its strong community feel and supportive staff team, providing a nurturing environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

  • Supporting teaching and learning within a KS2 classroom.
  • Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and activities.
  • Providing targeted support to individual pupils and small groups.
  • Assisting with classroom preparation and behaviour management.
  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Has previous experience working within a primary school setting.
  • Is confident supporting pupils in Key Stage 2.

  • Demonstrates patience, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach.
  • Has a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
