About The Role Itself

Teaching Personnel are looking for candidates looking to make a positive difference to a child’s education experience. As the need for Teaching Assistants in all upper key stage years is at an all-time high, we need resilient, encouraging & positive people to place in our schools.

Most working days will vary depending on the placement, but the majority of working days will be pre-booked. You may also be required to be on standby for some morning bookings, between 7am and 9am.

 

Candidate Duties

  • Ideally have experience across Key Stage 2
  • Deliver tailored teaching activities to pupils on either a one-to-one basis or in small groups
  • Support the teacher in managing challenging pupil behaviour & promote positive behaviour
  • Help with the planning of some lessons
  • Listen to pupils read & read to pupils as a class, group or one-to-one
  • Carry out administrative duties, such as preparing classroom resources
  • Support the Social & Emotional development of pupils, reporting any issues when required

 

Salary & Working Hours

The rate of pay will depend on experience, but Teaching Personnel can guarantee a price match against any other agency – ensuring your trust in us representing you, stays at an all-time high!

 

Full time hours (Minimum 8.30am – 3.30pm)

Extra hours may be required for staff meetings, inspections, and parent consultations.
