Key Stage 2 - Teacher

Teaching Personnel are working closely with schools in the Grantham area, and we are looking for KS2 Teachers to fill short-term & long-term cover.

An Overview

Our schools are looking for teachers who are fun, confident, creative & adaptable – teachers who are willing to enter any KS2 classroom and engage all children, almost instantly, to reach each pupil’s greatest potential.

Duties & The Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with primary pupils – particularly, in Key Stage 2
• Establish high expectations of pupil behaviour & classroom management to ensure effective teaching
• Maintain a safe, supportive and secure environment in which the pupils can learn
• Regularly set ambitious, yet achievable targets for pupils - monitoring progress and attainment closely
• Build & maintain effective, informative, relationships with parents/guardians
• Plan & deliver the teaching programme, ensuring it is adaptive to each class/student

Salary & Working Hours

The rate of pay will depend on experience, but Teaching Personnel can guarantee a price match against any other agency – ensuring your trust in us representing you, stays at an all-time high!

Full time hours (Minimum 8.30am – 3.30pm)

Extra hours may be required for staff meetings, inspections and parent consultations.

Qualification and Vetting

The successful candidate will be required to show proof of appropriate qualification for the post (UK QTS certification) and ECT’s are welcome to apply.

Successful candidates must provide details (when requested) of appropriate referee’s and consent to being subject to ‘Child Only’ DBS checks as per our vetting procedures.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
