We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our friendly and supportive primary school in Morecambe. Working within Key Stage 2, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils to achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and making a positive difference in children's lives.

  • Provide classroom support for pupils across Key Stage 2.
  • Work closely with class teachers to deliver engaging learning activities.
  • Support children with varying learning needs, including those with SEND.
  • Deliver targeted interventions to support academic progress.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.
  • Experience working with primary-aged children, preferably within KS2.
  • A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Relevant qualifications (Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable but not essential).
