Teaching Personnel are looking for a caring and enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to support a lovely Year 1 class in the LA2 area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping children learn, grow, and feel confident in the classroom.

• Support the teacher with engaging KS1 lessons.
• Work 1:1 and in small groups on reading, phonics, writing, and maths.
• Take part in daily phonics sessions.
• Encourage positive behaviour and a warm learning environment.
• Help prepare resources and keep the classroom organised.

• A friendly, patient, and proactive approach.
• Experience with KS1 or young children.
• Good communication skills and willingness to get involved.
• Understanding of safeguarding.

• Weekly pay and flexible working options.
• Supportive consultant and regular check‑ins.
• Access to training, including phonics and SEND support.
• Opportunities for long‑term or permanent roles.
