A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Chester is looking for an enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their teaching team on a temporary basis.

The Role

As the successful Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will:

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Has experience teaching within KS1, or strong recent experience within primary education
  • Has a secure understanding of the primary curriculum and child development
  • Can demonstrate strong classroom practice
  • Has high expectations of all pupils
  • Is creative, enthusiastic and adaptable
  • Works effectively as part of a collaborative team
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare

A good sense of humour, flexibility and a genuine enthusiasm for working with young children would also be highly valued.
