About The Role

Weare working alongside our client schools in Newark who urgently require experienced Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs. Not all working days will be the same, some may vary depending upon where the 1:1 support will be needed – however, this will be centred on working with pupils in the lower key stages.

The ideal candidate we are looking for will be kind, caring & patient, who has a sympathetic understanding to each child’s needs. We want someone who ensures each child’s best interests are at heart & wants to promote a positive experience for every child’s time in education. Someone energetic & fun will be desired; able to move with the pupil and offer support in the way the pupil needs.

Candidate Duties

• Experience working in similar Primary School roles as a teaching assistant, is preferred
• Support the teacher in managing challenging pupil behaviour & promote positive behaviour
• Support the Social & Emotional development of pupils, reporting any issues when requireD
• Ideally have experience in KS1 – specifically working 1:1

Working Hours & Salary

Full time hours (Minimum 8.30am – 3.30pm)

Extra hours may be required for staff meetings, inspections, and parent consultations.
