About The Role Itself

We are working alongside client schools in Boston who urgently require experienced Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs. Every working day will vary – depending upon where the 1:1 support will be needed, but this will be centred on working with pupils in the lower key stages.

The ideal candidate will be patient & caring, ensuring each child’s best interests are at heart. We’re looking for Teaching Assistants who want to promote a positive experience for every child’s time in education. Someone energetic will be desired, able to move with the pupil and offer support in the way the pupil needs.  

Candidate Duties

• Ideally have experience in KS1 – specifically working 1:1
• Support the teacher in managing challenging pupil behaviour & promote positive behaviour
• Support the Social & Emotional development of pupils, reporting any issues when required
• Experience working in similar Primary School roles as a teaching assistant, is preferred

Salary & Working Hours

The rate of pay will depend on experience, but Teaching Personnel can guarantee a price match against any other agency – ensuring your trust in us representing you, stays at an all-time high!

Full time hours (Minimum 8.30am – 3.30pm)

Extra hours may be required for staff meetings, inspections, and parent consultations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
