Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne 

Job Type: Temp to perm expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary: £80 - £90 per day

Job Duties:

• Provide one-to-one support to students requiring intervention in their learning
• Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans
• Monitor and track student progress and provide feedback to teachers
• Support classroom teachers in creating a conducive learning environment
• Collaborate with educational professionals to develop effective intervention strategies

Required Qualifications:

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Experience working in an educational setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team

Education:

• Minimum of Level 3 qualification in Education or related field

Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of child development and learning processes
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
• Strong organisational skills
• Knowledge of educational intervention methods

Preferred Qualifications:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience working with students with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

• Work in a school setting during school hours
• May require some flexibility in working hours
