Teaching Assistant – Intervention Support (Primary School)

A primary school in Warrington that we are working closely with is seeking a skilled Teaching Assistant to support pupils through targeted small group interventions, with a strong focus on English and Maths.

This role will involve working closely with class teachers to identify gaps in learning and deliver structured interventions to help pupils build confidence and improve attainment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver small group and 1:1 interventions in English and Maths
  • Support pupils in developing core literacy and numeracy skills
  • Track and monitor progress, providing feedback to teachers
  • Adapt resources to meet varying ability levels
  • Support learning within the classroom where required

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have strong English and Maths knowledge / ability
  • Be confident delivering structured intervention sessions
  • Have experience working within a primary school setting
  • Be patient, supportive, and able to motivate learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
