An In‑School Learning Support Assistant role is available at a welcoming education setting in the BS15 area of Bristol. We are looking for committed, caring individuals to support pupils within the classroom and help remove barriers to learning.

This is a hands‑on, in‑school role working closely with teaching staff to support pupils academically, socially and emotionally. Multiple positions are available.

  • Provide in‑class support on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
  • Assist pupils with learning tasks and classroom activities
  • Support pupils with additional needs such as SEND, SEMH or communication difficulties
  • Help promote positive behaviour and engagement
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider school team
  • Create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment

Essential

  • Experience working with children or young people (education, care, youth work or similar)
  • A patient, nurturing and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Desirable

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or care

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
